Wall Sawing or Track Sawing

Method of Operation:

Wall sawing is also well known as 'track sawing' which provides an efficient solution for precision masonry and concrete wall / floor cutting. Concrete saw cutting is achieved through the use of equipment powered by electricity, hydraulic driver, petrol or diesel engine. Wall sawing is a very accurate method used for cutting openings and recesses in heavily reinforced concrete walls and floors; this technique is commonly used for cutting doorways or windows etc.

The system comprises of a track that supports a travelling saw head, safety guard and a circular steel blade with diamond segments. The track is bolted to the concrete surface while the saw head is operated by a remote control at a safe distance. The rotating blade is powered by an electric, combustion or hydraulic motor and travels backwards and forwards along the rails.

The cut is made as the blade makes a series of passes over the surface. The saw has the capacity to cut to a max depth of up to 850mm with a 2000mm diameter blade for one side cut. Whether it is inverted, angled, flush cut or conventional, Concrete Cutting Sydney masonry and concrete wall sawing machines and skilled operators will accommodate most situations. Concrete Cutting Sydney wall saws are extremely versatile and their small size and lightweight nature mean they can be used in situations where heavier floor saws are not feasible. In addition, our wall saws are remotely operated removing the occurrence of vibration and also reduce the noise levels encountered by the operator.
